PetTrakr

Love your pet, save a life

Introducing TrakrTag, the simplest way to get updates during your pet's journey. TrakrTags have no battery and can be used on any airline. And as a bonus, for every date submitted we will donate AUD$1 to GARC.

Step 1: Assign Tag

Step 1: Assign Tag

Every TrakrTag is unique and assigned to just one trip. Every TrakrTag has a secure private key that allows us to verify that the Tag being scanned is the TrakrTag we expect. This layer of security prevents malicious scans or updates. This is more secure than a QR Code. A QR code can be copied and put up anywhere. Imagine your QR Code being put up in a public toilet...
Step 2: Attach Tag

Step 2: Attach Tag

The Assigned TrakrTag is then attached by your Pet Travel Company to your pet’s crate. This can be combined with an optional PetTrakr which is the best way to get guaranteed photo and map location updates at frequent intervals throughout your pet’s journey. All updates will appear in your PetTrakr Portal Page. A link will be sent to you before your pet travels.
Step 3: Scan Tag

Step 3: Scan Tag

Your Pet Travel Company will take care to scan the TrakrTag at defined points along your pet’s journey giving you updates and assurance of their progress. The security built into the TrakrTag means only someone with physical access to your pet’s crate can provide updates so you can be assured they were with your pet.

Helping Reduce Rabies Deaths

For every TrakrTag update submitted we will donate AUD$1 to the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC)

Helping Reduce Rabies Deaths

The devastating impact of Rabies

An estimated 59,000 people die of Rabies every year. More than half of these deaths are in young children with a child dying every 15 minutes from this horrific disease. Rabies is a neglected disease, disproportionately affecting poor communities, predominantly in Africa and Asia. The lack of political will and support for this preventable disease means that those suffering and dying from Rabies remain silent victims. Dogs are responsible for almost all human Rabies cases, and because of this, they are persecuted, inhumanely culled, and stoned to death out of fear, despite there being a simple solution to end the disease in both people and dogs – vaccination.
